Auger Holder

Two clamps. Every auger. Your sled deck stays clean.

Stop letting your auger roll around the sled and stab through your tackle bags on the tow out. This 2-clamp kit bolts to the inside sidewalls of any standard ice fishing sled - one clamp on each opposite wall - so the auger spans ACROSS the front or back end of the sled, gripped at the handle on one side and at the screw on the other. Locks any modern ice auger in place from BOTH ends so it stays put on the tow out, the drive home, and the truck-bed-bouncing-down-the-highway-at-65mph.

The two-bungee trick that makes the 2-clamp system work:

• Handle end (4 inch ball bungee): wraps around the auger's drill-mount shaft. Standard install.
• Screw end (9 inch ball bungee): wraps OVER the auger blades. The longer bungee means the cord does NOT have to thread between the flighting - it loops above the entire screw section and pulls down to one of the V-cradle L-hooks. Every other "universal" auger holder makes you pick one end of the auger to clamp. This kit clamps both.

The 90 degree V cradle on each clamp self-centers any shaft profile - hex shafts seat on the flats, round shafts contact on lines, both stay rock-solid under tow.

Sized for the real ice fishing experience:

• 1-1/2 inch V depth - auger sits deep, wont pop out on rough ice
• 2-1/4 inch V opening - accepts shafts up to 1-1/2 inch without binding
• Two L-shaped hooks at the base of each V for ball-bungee attachment
• Bungee through-hole at the V top as a secondary anchor option
• 4 inch + 9 inch black ball bungees included (one of each)

Kit includes:

• 2 x auger clamps (V-cradles)
• 4 stainless steel button-head bolts (M5 thread, 1 inch long)
• 4 stainless fender washers (3/4 inch OD, 2 outside per clamp)
• 4 M5 stainless wing nuts
• 1 x 4 inch black ball bungee (handle end)
• 1 x 9 inch black ball bungee (screw end)

Drill FOUR 13/64 inch through-holes - one PAIR on the LEFT sidewall and one PAIR on the RIGHT sidewall, lined up directly across from each other near either the front end OR the back end of the sled (the auger will span the width of the sled between them). Bolts pass through horizontally, wing nuts on from the inside, hand-tighten. Works with gloves on. No drill needed at the lake once the holes are made. Removable for off-season storage.

Use it like this:

1. Position the auger ACROSS the sled near either the front or back end. Mark and drill one PAIR of 13/64 inch holes on each sidewall, lined up directly across from each other (so one clamp grips the handle end and the other grips the screw end)
2. Bolt both clamps in place with the V-cradle facing INWARD, hooks at the bottom
3. Drop the auger handle into the handle-end V-cradle, hook the 4 inch bungee over the shaft
4. Set the auger screw section in the screw-end V-cradle, hook the 9 inch bungee OVER the screw.
5. Auger is locked at both ends. Tow worry-free.
